A simple solution to a big problem
One of the biggest problems I see with people who are having trouble with debt is no budget planning. I see it every day. I will often ask, where do you think your money goes? Almost always I get the answer; I don't know where it goes. I am sometimes guilty of this myself so I thought I would sit down and figure to the penny where my money goes. The results amazed me. I never knew how much I was spending on eating out, lunches, and other things. Small purchases I did not even give a second thought to, add up over a 30 day period. The point I am getting at is, in these tough times, we can not throw away one penny. We must all buckle down and concentrate on keeping our credit and finances as good as possible. At your earliest convenience, sit down and list all of your income coming in. Then list all, and I mean all, of your expenses. Include everything, bills, groceries, hair cuts and such, and everyday expenses. The results will be an eye opener. What can you do to have more money at the end of the month? Look for ways to get into a better financial position. Try to save a little each month no matter how small the amount. Try to cut out at least one or two of the things you do to spend money. Now I'm not talking about not paying the electric bill, I'm talking about cooking at home, or watching a movie at home instead of going out. These simple steps can make a huge difference in the big scheme of things. Thanks for reading and as always, if you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to email me.
